The client is responsible for understanding these Terms & Conditions upon booking an appointment with Em Cosmetic Studio. Upon booking any services with Em Cosmetic Studio, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Booking Deposits
When you make a booking at Em Cosmetic Studio, the time allocated for your appointment is reserved for you. For all treatments, you will be required to pay a non-refundable booking deposit. These payments must be made within 48 hours of booking an appointment. Deposits are required immediately for online bookings. If you place a booking through one of our team members, a text message from our booking system FRESHA will contact you to make this deposit payment online. The deposit prices vary per treatment.
Bookings are not confirmed until deposits are received. Deposits not received within 48 hours of request will result in the booking time being open for availability to other clients. A booking deposit is required for all appointments including the initial session, touch up session and any additional appointments.
This non-refundable deposit is not an extra charge and is held on an account for you and taken off your final bill. The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the appointment.
Booking Cancellation/ Rescheduling
A cancellation can be made at any time, however the deposit paid is non-refundable. If for any reason you cannot attend your appointment, 48 hours notice is required to reschedule. Appointment rescheduling is only valid on one occasion per client.
If 48 hours notice has not been given your deposit will be charged as a missed appointment fee and another deposit will be required to reschedule. If you do give 48 hours notice and don't reschedule your appointment your deposit is still non refundable, it will go on your file as a credit to use at a later date. ALL DEPOSITS ARE STRICTLY NON REFUNDABLE.
Late Fee & No Shows
If you are more than 15 minutes late to the appointment, this will result in cancellation due to insufficient time to perform the treatment. It is unfair to other clients to have to wait and these are treatments we cannot rush. Your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit will be required to reschedule.
If you fail to attend your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit will be required to reschedule.
Service Guarantee
The level of appointment preparation, aftercare and immunity (for healing) greatly affects the outcome of these procedures. Other factors also include prior tattoo, asymmetry of facial features, the skin type and tone, medications, underlying blood vessels etc. No guarantee can be made regarding the results as every skin responds differently. No guarantee can be made that a specific client will benefit the same as another from these procedures.
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure the best possible results, Em Cosmetic Studio, unfortunately, cannot guarantee this. We will always do our best to rectify or adjust where deemed necessary to get the outcome that you desire. Clients may require multiple touch up sessions to achieve their goals. In some cases, although rare, the skin may not retain the pigment even after multiple tattooing sessions. In this case, it is best to not continue with the tattooing treatments.
Appointment Preparation & Aftercare
Please ensure you have read ALL information outlined in the appointment preparation and aftercare tabs. It is imperative to follow all guidelines and restrictions for the best results possible. Failure to follow all pre and post care will result in a poor outcome. Please immediately direct any questions or concerns to Em Cosmetic Studio.
Minors & Companions
These procedures require full concentration from your artist. In the interest of you receiving undivided attention, as well as hygiene and health & safety reasons, children and minors are not permitted in the studio during a procedure. They also unfortunately cannot be left unattended outside of the studio. We therefore request that you make suitable arrangements for off site childcare.
Unless by prior arrangement, companions or drivers are also not permitted in the studio during a consultation or procedure as it is distracting for both you and your artist. They will be asked to wait in the waiting area.
Gift Cards, Referral Program & Discounts
Gift cards have a 12 month expiry from the date of purchase. This card may be used for multiple appointments and services using the full amount in its entirety.
Our referral program (refer a friend and receive $50 off any cosmetic tattoo treatment) is valid for one use only. The referred friend must write your name in the 'how did you hear about us' section on the consent form for this discount to be honoured.
If you have received a discount card or gift voucher flyer to the amount of $100 given by Em Cosmetic Studio, conditions do apply. This card/flyer is valid for any full price cosmetic tattoo treatment as a one time use only. It can not be used in conjuction with any other sale, discount or gift card. The amount is not transferable between people and cannnot be redeemed for cash.
Contraindications
Cosmetic tattoo is not suitable for everyone including those:

Under 18 years of age

Planning any medical/cosmetic surgery

Recent tan from sun exposure or sun burn

Prone to keloid scarring

Epilepsy

Suffer from severe allergies

Have failed to comply with pre procedure care

Have an event or holiday planned within 10 days from your treatment (Healing process will take a minimum 10 days. You cannot wear makeup on the treated area or expose the area to any sun until it has fully healed).

Suffering from cancer/undergoing chemotherapy

Suffering from major heart problems such as stroke/heart attack

Have diabetes (Will be required to obtain a medical clearance from your doctor)

Problems with skin healing

Blood disease
-
Weak immune system

Pregnant and breastfeeding

Suffering from severe anxiety. If you are unsure and having doubts then it is advised not to get this procedure done.
If you do present a contraindication without letting us know prior to your appointment, your appointment willl be cancelled/rescheduled and a new deposit will be required. Prior to any treatment with Em Cosmetic Studio, you will be required to fill out a consent form. This form is sent to you via text message/email from our booking system FRESHA. If you would prefer to complete this form in the salon, we can use a paper copy. All card transactions incur a 1.5% surcharge.
